YouTube - what's going on?

A lot of us who watch YT gun related videos have been seeing, over the last 6 months or so, many of the popular channels being assessed strikes which then leads to channel closings/bannings. It's been happening with great frequency lately yet still accelerating to include many small channels.

Add to this in just the last few days a lot of right leaning "alternative news" sites have been having the same thing happening to them in the same manner. In fact, so many channels are being such down that it's got a lot of people very upset.

I obviously have no idea whatsoever is going on but I wanted to note it's occurrence and ask if anyone here has any thoughts on it?
