Going down the slippery slope of gun confiscation...

Slippery slope is NOT a logical fallacy. That is literally the tactic used to confiscate from people and enslave them. First they will keep banning the "fringe" (such as bump stocks and assault weapons). Then, when those are banned, there will be a new fringe. So, now energy will shift to the new fringe (which several years early was the norm and accepted).

Then, they will offer gun buy backs to motivate people to sell guns. Then, they will offer a whistleblower program to give money (money they have taken from YOU I might add) to people who will whistleblow on you owning an "illegal" or "unregistered" gun. Next, they will offer an amnesty for you to turn in your gun with no penalty.

Next, they will do this process again focusing on the new "fringe" that survived (like hand guns for example or hunting rifle). Rinse and repeat until only 0.0001% of people own a gun and the population is ripe to exploit.
