Most beads are set down close to the barrel.
Or rib as the case may be.
If the front sight stands much more than 1/4”
(0.25”) above the barrel, then you may shoot low.
Paint a big black dot on your wife’s white sheet,
close your eyes and shoulder the shotgun,
(Pointed safely down range of course)
pop open your eyes and take a shot, like the dot
is a rapidly diminishing pheasant . . .
then go to your sheet and circle the pattern.
That’ll show you two things - how the shotgun fits,
and where you’re shooting.
Third thing, if your wife has a sense of humor.
Or not.
