older small trucks

Back in the 80s small trucks were just switching to fuel injection. I had an 87 Toyota that I believe was one of the the last year for a Carb in the US. My friend had just bought a Ford Ranger with Fuel injection in about 87 also. He gave me grief because I paid more for my truck but his had several problems.

In my opinion Toyotas were the best made Trucks, but the problem is that most people know this, so you pay much more. If you get a Ranger or Mazda from the late 90s you can probably get a much better deal and they were better trucks by then.

I was in the Military in the 80s and 90s and heard bad things about Dodge Dakotas, I wouldn't have one.
