Whats up with lever actions at the moment?

I'm only slightly involved with lever actions but seem currently to be some shortages on popular options.
Not sure how it is in the US but Rossi's have stopped exports to us the last year during some sort of business change.
Then the problems with Marlin/remington.
Everyone making an 1873 wants big dollars.
1892's in winchester and uberti being dropped off the product lists.
Chiappa still going but for the price I am not sure of the quality, they seem to get varied reports on web searches.

Well maybe its just my imagination but seems things were really good for a decade or so and now its harder to get hands on levers.
