I've seen some people bring bipods/tripods to ranges. I know it offers stability and it relieves the upper body from the muscle strain of holding a rifle nonstop.
But what are the advantages of shooting with a bipod/tripod other than being able to sit or at least relieve the upper body and to assist in zeroing in the rifle?

What happened to them, these styles of shootings? Why aren't they occurring now? Shouldn't they be even more frequent, considering 'satan and/or hitler' is the POTUS?
But what do we have now that's fashionable for atrocities; church shootings. A lone madman goes in and unloads on innocents at prayer.
Interesting, no? These seasons of specific atrocity styles?
I wonder if Vegas will set a new pattern, that of further mass concert shootings. We could discount the Ariana Grande event, due to location and modus operandi.
Very curious how these events occur as a particular trend for awhile, until replaced by the next one.

After some recommendations for a top quality stainless steel machete, preferably in the Kukri style but will consider others. Not too long, perhaps...The 38 has more punch, but the 22WMR gets further out there. For SHTF, hunting, putting food on the table, shooting baddies, and use in a pistol as needed. As a pure hypothetical your choice is?
