Apparently a 12 yo girl brought a 'toy"gun to school,and ended up shooting 2 students.
Lots of video on the news about it.The school is named San Castro.One of the clips they show has a big sign on the wall.."Its a beautiful day to be Chicano..San Castro"
Can you imagine the outrage if Chicano was replaced with a different word..maybe with Jewish,White,Patriot,German,any other race,religion,political affliation,etc..?

Effective suppressed 22lr sniper distance?

Pondering what is the greatest distance that say a mini mag could make a one shot effective sniper shot from a bolt rifle with a good scope.
40 grains is not a lot, but the right placed shot could stop a biped.

Yes better bullets out there, but thinking post shtf quiet perimeter protection.

Easier way to butcher a deer.

I just heard of an easy way to butcher a dear once you have it quartered that a friend tried this year.

He roasted the entire deer leg until it was falling apart. Then he picked the meat off the bone and packed it into canning jars, he added some watered down bbq sauce and pressure canned it.

I have several frozen 1/4's that I was going to make into cure if my test one turns out by now I may try this and see how it turns out.
