My last post was concerning bolt rifles in .35 Whelen, and it just seems that aquiring one is too expensive and buying a 30-06 and having a gunsmith convert it is just more effort than I'm willing to put in.
However, I've seen Mossberg makes a version of their Patriot in .375 Ruger. Anyone use it? It's a well-reviewed rifle, a big bore cartridge that I've been fantasizing over, and very affordable. Any recommendations?
