Cabo San Lucas trip w/2m-70cm HT's

Wifey & I are heading to Cabo end of August to spend a week with a good buddy down there, and being the licensed amateur radio operator that i am, wanting to operate 2m/70 cm simplex comms, while in country, plan to take a couple cheapo HT's along.

However, i have been searching the innerweb of things and am unable to find reliable and/or current intel on whether i can legally take said radios into Mexico?

So, my question for my esteemed operators is this?

Does anyone have a clue about this?
