Can anyone identify this sea critter?

Well it doesn't look like the dreaded man/bear/bass nor does it look like Big Fin
so it's any bodies guess......it's a good thing you got away

Actually, I can't really tell what it is, doesn't look like a squid although it's hard to judge the size
