Sitting here waiting for the eclipse I have spent a couple of very pleasant hours looking at pod homes and realized how out of date I have become. They are no longer called cabins. That was changed to "Tiny Houses" and now are called "Pod Homes." You have pods, Granny Pods you can build in your back yard if you can get past zoning laws to keep granny in. Survival pods and floating pods on barges. We used to call them "Houseboats." Some of them are modular sections and some are actually shaped like eggs.
I really think that an egg shaped bug out Pod would attract a lot of attention setting out in the woods. I would buy a used camper, run two concrete runners with a sewer line to a lagoon. Throw a small brush pile over the sewer tap and leaves and grass over the runners and no one would ever see it. The net does have a lot of nice looking little bug out homes to look at.
