Truth behind steel ammo

steel cases SHOULD be softer than what is used on key parts in your firearm... if its damaging your extractor then you have a soft extractor... no, tulammo and wolf do not suck because its steel case, tulammo and wolf suck because its tulammo and wolf.. their powder charges are inconsistent, bullet weight is inconsistent, and overall they produce somewhat lackluster and anemic muzzle velocities.. real military steel case ammo is pretty good as are some other brands out there

when asking if its worth stockpiling.. if 7.62x39 i recommend golden tiger ammo which produces higher velocity and better accuracy than wolf or tula and the cartridges are bullet and primer sealed which is good for long storage.. each cartridge costs less than what youd typically buy unloaded 7.62 bullets for so theres no reason to reload them when loaded ammo is cheaper.. though i have loaded steel case ammo in the past and its worked fine, you may get fewer reloads out of it though
