Sleeping pad R ratings

I've been doing some reading on the R values of sleeping pads trying to figure out what I want, but I'm having issues answering a couple of questions so I'm seeking help here.

Does a sleeping pad with a high R rating keep you too warm if used in the summer months?

How big of a deal is the R rating on a sleeping pad during cooler months? Is it worth worrying about?

I have old eyes also.

I use XS Big Dot Tritium sights on my pistols. They work well for me.

Other guys swear by Tru Glo Tritium sights.

I put a pair of these on my Glock. Slightly smaller dot, but the difference is that the Tru Glo's have a fiber optic rod in front of the tritium vial. The fiber optic rod glows during the day, and is illuminated by the tritium at night. You can get them in different colors.

In contrast, the XS Big Dot sights do not glow during the day (no fiber optic rod), but that front dot is huge - I have no problems indexing it with my messed up eyesight.

In many cases its wise to have a gunsmith install the sights - they may need some fitting. It's relatively inexpensive, think I paid something like $30 to install the XS Big Dot Tritium sights on a Kahr P380.

I don't think the Office of the President has held much respect ever since Bill Clinton got on MTV with his saxophone. IMO, that was when the President ceased to be the head of the government and turned into a cultural icon.

Obama released illegal arms dealers in the iran nuke deal

This article from Politico shows Obama's release of jailed criminals in the Iran nuclear deal was a sham.

Releasing illegal arms dealers, who were trying to get weapons and nuclear systems components to Iran.

If this does not wake some of you here up to Obama's nefarious dealings in national security, and our country's safety, you are truly hopeless.

Obama aided the Iranians in their nuclear program, by releasing these prisoners.

Politico certainly is not a right wing news source.

Couple real nice plants will produce a lot. If I can remember, need to get male & female plants? I collect my berries from volunteer plants growing in fence rows, along railroad tracks, etc. Once the berries become ripe, I snip the flower head off with all the berries, place in brown paper bag. Put in freezer. Then you can take a fork and flic the berries from the flower head. Wild elderberries are the size of 00 buckshot. Remember, elderberry juice goes a long way.

Somebody help me out here. Maybe my reading comprehension isn't up to par....

Don't get me wrong, I'm outraged and nearly triggered that this even happened, but what does it have to do with the current allegations during the presidential election? I don't see how this helps our case.
