We all know the 10/22 is proven platform but theres some pretty nice looking, similarly priced and well reviewed semi auto .22s that come already or a little more ready to customize and have well priced high caps available. The arx 160, MSR rx22 and the various AR styles come to mind, do they make sense as your go to .22 when SHTF...?
