Thermal imaging down game

I heard about a guy that shot a deer with a bow at sunset. The deer moved off quickly with little blood, but the guy felt it was a good hit.

He used a SEEK reveal thermal imaging camera (hand held, self contained bought off EBAY for $309).

About 60 yards from the last spot of blood, the deer was spotted down a ravine wrapped around a tree, in a little brush with nothing showing but brown back.

Even with bright handheld light, the hunter could not spot the carcass until he was about 10 yards away, but it was easy with the SEEK.

It may have been pitch black when the photos were taken. It would look the same day or night with the unit, seeing heat doesn't care.

The thermal unit could have many uses including spotting problems of all kinds.
