Using an RMR on your ccw piece

I see more and more manufacturers installing RMR's on their ccw guns, I'm not a fan, I admit it, I've never seen the practical use, for ccw anyway.

If force on force training I'm yet to have time to aquire the dot, or the sights for that reason before firing. So, wheres the value?

If you happen to be in that one in a million position to seeing an active shooter from 75 yards away, he's not aware of you yet and you can get a good sight on him, then okay, I can see the value, but for reactive shooting which your defensive shooting will be, I don't see it.

Am I wrong?
