Seeing as most bulk food stores will best be served via boiling water, that is what I'll address here. If you are looking to bake food you might look into solar ovens.
For boiling water I wanted to be as efficient as possible while avoiding the need to store vast amounts of fuel. If you can have a 250 gallon propane tank then you might look into ptopane cooking but that won't work in my case.
For efficiently boiling water I've purchased a Kelly Kettle. The idea here is more surface area allowing water to boil faster and with less fuel.

After efficient boiling, I addressed efficient heating. There are two competing options here: rocket stoves and wood gasifier stoves or wood gas stoves. I decided on the wood gas option but you should look into small rocket stoves as well. I favored wood gas simply because it packs up smaller and a small camping one can be had on Amazon for under $20. As far as I can tell, these are knockoffs of the solo stove but pack up smaller. Check https://www.solostove.com for general wood has stove details.
Advantages of wood gas and rocket stoves are pretty much the same. Higher temperatures, less smoke, contained flame, and all with less wood than a camp fire. Wood gas stoves are specifically marketed as able to run off of twigs and pinecones limiting the amount of wood processing necessary. In my case, I buy 40lb bags of wood pellets for under $7. These are easily and safely stored inside and I can always collect wood if I run out.
Lastly, I would recommend getting a couple of the best thermoses you can find. This way you can put boiling water in with dry beans or wheat berries that take longer to cook/soak and they will continue cooking in the thermoses for several hours.
Let me know what you guys think of this strategy and if you have any ideas for improvements.
