Sometimes, Having Livestock REALLY Sucks! Like at 5 o'clock this morning, when my LaMancha doe DIED after failing to deliver the 3 kids she was trying to deliver. Lost the kids, too...3 little bucklings. 2 were breech, and the way they were all positioned, they were blocking each other from reaching the birth canal. She died with her head in my lap...

Once it got light enough to see, I had to call in to work to tell them I'd be late, then start digging the hole to bury them in. Good thing I have a backhoe on the tractor.
